Although the pistol is at finishing now, if you decide you want it, but would like additional options, I will be happy to rework the necessary options and refinish it again at my expense.  The only cost for upgrades would be the cost of the upgrades alone, I will handle the rest.

The Last of the 6 pistols I am doing for Dick Anthony Heller

This pistol is a picture of gun number 3 that was raffled off at Shot Show to one of the members of AR15.com, who donated in part with many others.  The object of these build was to commemorate the Supreme Court victory and present the first pistol to Dick Heller for all the hard work he put into the challenge and making a significant mark in the battle over our Second Amendment.  The second pistol was awarded to Dane V. - the gentleman that began the battle with Mr. Heller, even putting himself through Law School to act as legal council and representation in the early and middle 1990's.  The third was raffled off to a gentleman by the name of Omega-1 on the forums.

The pistol pictured is not the pistol for sale as the final pistol has yet to be finished.  The customer that originally put a deposit down for the gun I'm listing has backed out and will forfeiting this opportunity.  This is the last one, and there will not be any more built after this one is sold.  It comes with a display case engraved with a quote by Heller "In a truly free country, one does not need to ask permission to bear arms."  I will be finishing the pistol soon and it will be available sometime in October.

The package includes the display case, a custom knife by Don Llewelyn of Las Vegas, NV and the pistol.  The pistol and knife have the logo from AR15.com engraved into the slide and blade.  The serial number of the gun is also engraved onto the knife and the court case and date can be seen forward of the ejection port.  The reverse of the slide has a message similar to the Second Amendment "...and the right to bear arms shall not be infringed."

The display case, knife handle and grips are all made from the same piece of Mahogany for a matching color and grain.  Mahogany was chosen as the material because it is the same wood that makes up the bench within the Supreme Court.  The pistol has a Gold Bead Sight, Flat Topped and Serrated, Diamond Checkering on the front and back, Smith and Alexander Beavertail, Cylinder and Slide Ignition, 10-8 Trigger and Rear Sight, Staggered Borders and an Ed Brown Thumb Safety and Mag Catch.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this pistol.  I guarantee my work - if you are not 100% satisfied with the purchase, return it within a reasonable time frame and condition for a full refund.  Comes with the proven test target and I'll pass along your contact info to Heller upon request.

A Personal Custom of mine

This is a pistol that I built a while back ago on an Aluminum Officers Colt frame.  It has a commander length Caspian slide, Yost Rear Sight, Kart Barrel and Bushing, Full Length Guide rod, Cylinder and Slide Hammer, Sear and Disconnector.  It sports a Grieder Trigger, Carbon Fiber Grips, Nowlin Pins, Ed Brown Mag Catch, Thumb Safe and Slide Release.  It's been lowered and Flared with a live round extraction cut and high power cuts on the muzzle end of the slide.  The cocking serrations are something that I thought I would try and give it a unique look and function well.  It is checkered on the front strap and rear at 30 LPI.  The slide also has the bottom edge beveled with the rear of the slide serrated at 40LPI.  The grip safe is a GI style tang relieved for the Commander Style Hammer. The finish is Birdsong Black T and the pistol has been shot very little.

I'm considering letting it go from my personal collection to a good home.  It does not have tritium on the front sight, but I would be happy to have a lamp installed upon the purchaser's request.  The frame is a Series 80, but the slide is a Series 70 so it has a filler plate to take up the play in the fire control area.  It's a great shooting gun though it hasn't been shot much.  The finish is in perfect condition as I am from Illinois and can't carry, and I usually shoot my other guns when I go practice and compete.

Custom Grip Jig

This jig is made from Stainless Steel and holds the grips at the proper angle so the bottom of the grips are parallel with the vise you are using.  It was designed to be used in trimming the backside of grips for magwells.  It's great for counter boring the grips for medallions...just flip the grips over and switch places for milling.  Grips are held down by a cross bar or can be screwed down with a full set of 1911 grip screws.  Pictured with a set of Ivory Grips that were trimmed for a Heinie Magwell.

A must for Custom Grip makers
